Cosmopolitan Villa New

This is the first negative Airbnb review I’ve ever left. But I feel it’s unfortunately well deserved. There is a driveway gate & garage door - of which neither had a remote. Leaving/arriving was very inconvenient and I’d have to manually open the driveway gate and run to my car before it auto closed. I let AboutAway know the remote was missing immediately & they said they’d speak to their team. I asked again the next afternoon, they were still “waiting on their team”. They never got back to me about it. They had taken a $500 pet deposit for my dog separate from the initial Airbnb transaction. I thought this was odd until I left and they charged me $300 from that deposit. They sent pics like a small clump of dog hair on the floor and a tiny spot of dirt on a bed sheet they called a “stain”. None of it would have costed them anywhere near $300. Airbnb won’t help bc the charge is separate. I now know they do this on purpose. Don’t stay here. They’re bad communicators and scammy.
